The Room Is Seriously Huge!
The suite is cleverly divided into three separate sections, which makes the room feel very spacious even when travelling with the whole family.
The first section is the bedroom, with a comfortable sleeping area and plenty of space around the bed.
The second section is the bathroom and changing area. This part is particularly convenient because there are actually two separate toilets — one with the toilet bowl and another bathroom area with a bathtub. There is also a sink and a wardrobe area.
Basically, this becomes your "get ready" zone. You can put your luggage, hang your clothes, shower and change here without having clothes and bags all over the bedroom.
The Private Pool Facing the Sea
The third section opens up to the private pool with a sea view.
This is what makes the suite feel so special.
The pool area isn't completely enclosed, so you can actually feel the sea breeze while sitting in the pool. You get the combination of water, open air and the sea in front of you, which makes it much more relaxing than a completely enclosed private pool.
There is also a sauna beside the pool area.
For me, the best thing was simply being able to sit outside, enjoy the breeze and look towards the sea without having to go anywhere.
It is one of those rooms where you can easily spend a few hours just staying inside and enjoying the facilities.

Breakfast Has a Good Variety
Breakfast was another pleasant part of our stay.
There was a good variety of food, so it wasn't difficult to find something for everyone in the family. Whether you prefer a heavier breakfast or something lighter, there were plenty of choices.
For a family holiday, I always appreciate a hotel breakfast with enough variety because it saves the hassle of figuring out where to eat first thing in the morning.

Some hotel rooms look nice in photos but become surprisingly cramped once you put in everyone's luggage, clothes and children's things. That wasn't really an issue here.

The bedroom gives you a proper sleeping area, the bathroom and wardrobe section gives you a dedicated place to shower and change, and then you have the open-air private pool facing the sea.
It feels almost like having your own little holiday space within the resort.
For anyone searching for a Lexis Suites Penang review, especially families looking for a Penang hotel with a private pool and sea view, this is definitely a property worth considering.
The private pool and sea breeze were my favourite parts of the room, while the large layout, kids' facilities, swimming pools and breakfast variety made the overall stay comfortable for the whole family.
