Putuo Village is located in a bamboo forest on the outskirts of Kulai, Johor in Malaysia. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of city life and covers an area of 43 acres.
According to Buddhist legends, the bamboo forest is the residence of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Based on this legend, Putuo Village has carefully constructed Zaoputi Port, a picturesque Buddhist cultural spot, and Purple Bamboo Valley, a beautiful bamboo forest that also makes for a gorgeous scenic location.
Bodhi Sanctuary aims to adopt and appreciate Buddhist culture. It has the largest indoor statue of Zhunti Bodhisattva in Southeast Asia, exquisitely carved solemn Buddha statues and magnificent temple buildings, while also hosting various Buddhist activities. It is a place of profound appreciation for the beauty of Buddhist culture.

Going in Putuo Village is free. It is only chargeable to Purple Bamboo Valley at a very small fee.

Really big big panda beside a drink shop. You can get your drink and rest here.
You can either climb up the tower here to have a good seat or just with the Panda. Beside panda is the place where you can get your food and drink. The entrance to the the Purple Bamboo Valley is just in front of the food store.

This is the part where you need to pay RM5 per pax for Malaysian and kids are free. Foreigner charges are RM10.
There is more instagrammable place in Putuo Village. It is just a lot of visitor today and I could not take a nice photo for you.

There is a bit of walking and wheelchair may be in your way on certain area.
Road has slightly steep in some of the road but elderly can actually slowly walk and enjoy the scenery.
Yes, there are elderly and young children able to walk.

It is Free Parking. You can see buses and car are park along the road side.
There is a number of tour from all over Malaysia to visit Putuo Village.
Just google Putuo Village from your Google Map and you be able to reach.
So far, there is no public transfer that you be able to reach there as it is located at sub-urban area.
