Angcle Peoh @ Bukit Tinggi 2

Angcle Peoh derived from Penang Air Itam. Angcle Peoh's mum is good at cookery. She start her business under a bridge in 1950. She has to carry all the ingredients in a basket and soup for 4km to open her business.

Uncle Peoh started to help out when he is 7 years old. From then, their business start to evolve by getting bicycle, pedicab and then lorry to carry the food. Today, everyone know about Penang Ayer Itam Asam Laksa.

Angcle was named after uncle Peoh surname "Ang".

If you are a Asam Laksa lover, yes!! You should try!
Asam laksa
After mixing the hae kor(prawn sauce)
I am not a Asam Laksa fans but when I pass by the entrance of Angcle Peoh, I smell a strong frangrants Asam Laksa. It make me impulse and ordered this.
You can choose on how spicy or how fishy or how soury you like. Just tick more on what ingredients you want more. While I go for the standard one.

Curry noodle - it serves a big portion with chicken and meat ball. The curry taste is different from the usual curry. This is more watery but not powdery type. It give you want more to take more as though is a soup. I love this.

Fried tom yam noodle
This is maggi noodle fried with tom yam sauce. You definitely taste the Tom yam. Noodle was just nice soft and chewy.
